Do you accept Word files or do I need to convert them to PDF?
Complete guide to prepare your documents before printing
– Do you accept Word files or do I need to convert them to PDF?
Yes, we accept Word files (.doc or .docx), but we do not recommend printing directly from them. To avoid compatibility issues, margins, fonts or page breaks, it is ideal to convert your final file to PDF before sending it.

– Why is it NOT recommended to print from Word?
– Common problems when printing Word
Word is not a program designed for professional printing. It can generate:
- Format changes between computers
- Unexpected page breaks
- Altered margins
- Moved or overflowed texts
- Lack of font embedding
- Color variations
- Low resolution images
That's why we always recommend working in Word but exporting in PDF.
– When can we accept Word?
We can accept it only when:
– The customer understands and accepts the risks
- There may be variations in the design
- The layout may change
- The final output will not be totally under control
If you decide to send it in Word, we recommend converting it to PDF even for prior review.
If it's a book, check this guide before sending it:
