What type of paper do you recommend for book interiors?
The choice of paper for the inside of a book influences its appearance, price, weight, readability and overall feel.
In our print shop we handle four types of paper for interiors, each one designed for different editorial projects:
- White bond
- Cultural bond or boned
- Couché matte
- Couché glossy

Black and white books tend to focus on readability and reading comfort. For them we recommend:
🟩 1. Bond cultural or boneless - 90 g
It is the most used paper in:

🟪 What paper do we NOT recommend for interiors?
We do not use:
- Semi-matte book papers“
- Fancy papers
- Special papers that increase the weight of the book too much
- Interior laminates (only covers are laminated)
- Soft touch
