What file formats do you accept for printing?

To guarantee the best quality in the printing of books, catalogs, magazines and other publishing products, we accept various professional formats.
Our goal is that your files arrive print-ready, with maximum clarity and no loss of quality.

Below we explain which formats we accept, which we do not accept and what recommendations you should follow depending on your type of project.

🟪 File formats we do accept

These are the formats allowed in our printing house:

🟩 1. Print-ready PDF (recommended format)

It is the best option for any project, since:

  • Maintains embedded fonts
  • Preserves exact colors and sizes
  • Avoid compatibility errors
  • Universal for professional printing

Ideal for books, catalogs, magazines and flyers.

🟩 JPG and 3. PNG

Accepted formats for:

  • Covers
  • Individual images
  • Additional graphic material

We recommend sending them in high resolution (300 dpi).

🟩 4. TIFF

Professional format without compression.
Excellent for images or photographs that require maximum definition.

🟩 5. AI (Adobe Illustrator)

Editable files, useful for:

  • Covers
  • Final arts
  • Vector graphic material

Remember to convert fonts to curves or include them when exporting.

🟩 6. PSD (Adobe Photoshop)

Accepted for layered images or artwork.
We recommend including the fonts and effects used.

🟩 7. EPS

Professional vector format, ideal for logos and clean graphics.

🟩 8. INDD (Adobe InDesign)

Perfect for complex editorial documents:
Books, magazines or multi-page catalogs.

Be sure to include the complete package:

  • .indd file
  • Sources
  • Related images

🟩 9. Word files (DOCX) - only for black and white books

We accept Word files exclusively for books that meet these conditions:

  • Interior in black and white
  • Text only or with few images
  • Standard sizes such as Letter, Half Letter or A5
  • Simple formatting: no colors, complex tables or advanced editorial design

Word files are not accepted for:

  • Color books
  • Magazines
  • Catalogs
  • Advertising material
  • Projects with bleeds, full-page images or advanced layouts

🟪 Formats we do NOT accept for printing

These formats are NOT suitable for professional printing due to compression, low quality or incompatibility:

1. PowerPoint (PPT / PPTX)

This format distorts sizes, margins and quality.
It is not used in professional printing arts.

2. Canva without exporting to PDF

The files must be exported as:

  • PDF “for printing”.”
  • Bleeds activated
  • High quality

Canva in editable file is NOT suitable for printing.

3. Images sent by WhatsApp compressed

WhatsApp drastically reduces the quality:

  • Low resolution
  • Pixel art
  • Deformed colors

If you need to send images, do it by:
Email, Drive or WeTransfer.

🟪 Does the ChatBot receive files directly?

No.

The ChatBot cannot receive or parse files.
Its function is:

  • Quote
  • Resolving doubts
  • Explain materials and processes
  • Guide you through specific steps

To send files, you must do it by:

  • Mail
  • Google Drive
  • WeTransfer
  • Contact Form
